Ubi Franklin Recounts Death Of Sister To Cance, Describes It As A Painful Realization
Nigerian talent manager Ubi Franklin has recounted the death of his sister to cancer, describing it as a painful realization.
Recall that the music executive had announced the passing of his sister last year. He expressed grief over her death, describing her as an instrumental part of his journey to success.
In a recent post on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), Ubi Franklin reminisced on losing his sister to cancer last year, noting how she was a second mother to him, as she was the peacemaker in their family.
He shared how something happened and his first instinct was to call her, before the painful realization of her death hit him again.
He wrote:
"Tonight felt really heavy and emotional for me.
I lost my sister to cancer last year, and she was honestly like a second mother to me. Anytime anything happened in our family, she was always the person we called to settle issues and guide everyone.
Something happened today, and instinctively I picked up my phone to call her. Then it suddenly hit me again that the person I’m trying to call passed away last year. That realisation broke me all over again."
