Bobrisky Throws Shades At Influencers With High Rate Card But Poor Conversion
Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has weighed in on the conversation about influencer culture, throwing shades at some individuals in the process.
In a recent Instagram post, the former self-acclaimed 'Mummy of Lagos' asserted that many people carry the title of "influencer" simply because of their number of followers. He questioned whether such individuals possess the ability to convince 200 followers to buy products from a vendor in a single day.
Throwing shade, Bobrisky stressed that many people are far from being real influencers, noting the huge gap between real buyers and robot followers. He called out those who charge exorbitant prices for posts without delivering any conversion.
He wrote: "Truth be told! Many of you aren’t even an influencer!!! Many of you misinterpret the words “influencer” “influencers is not about having followers naaa.. many so called influencers don’t even look like what they call themselves . Can you convince 200 people to buy from our vendor in just one day? Can you look so good that people will crazily want to wear exactly what you wear? You can have 1million followers and our vendor won’t see 1 buyer or one single follower
Many of you so called influencers aren’t even an influencer. You just want to belong. There’s different btw real buyers and robot followers. Some of you can’t even sell one products in one day yet you will charge so much money that the vendor won’t see 1kobo in return."
