72 Hours Later And It's Still Not A Prank - Bimbo Ademoye Continues To Mourn Alexx Ekubo

Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye, is still in grief following the passing of her colleague, Alexx Ekubo.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the actor gave up the ghost on May 11, at the age of 40, following a battle with cancer.

According to reports, he battled stage four liver cancer in 2024 and underwent a transplant; however, in 2026, the liver failed again, and he died from complications hours after being placed on life support.

Taking to her Instagram page, Bimbo Ademoye shared a photo of the deceased, noting how it's been 72 hours since his death, and it's now a reality.

She reminisced on many of their funny moments together, urging him to rest well, affirming that he will definitely be missed.

She wrote: "72 hours later and it's still not a prank, it's still not a bad dream. THE BREEZE!

"Bimbo do you want me to turn you into a yam? Go and ask what ikuku means, I can just blink at you now and you'd turn to yam 😂🤣🤣" . I'd miss those words.

Rest well Ikuku. You'd surely ,most definitely, unarguably be missed!."
