There Are So Many Rules And Regulations Covering Us – Phyna Bemoans, Reveals Desire To Become A Man

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ijeoma Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has expressed her desire to be a man.

Speaking in a recent podcast, the controversial reality star asserted that she would have preferred to be a man, stating that the male gender finds it easier, which is a stark contrast to the expectations placed on the female gender.

Acknowledging the financial demands placed on men, Phyna posited that women have been subjected to stigmatization, and are bound by many rules and regulations, hindering them from expressing themselves freely.

According to her, these expectations weigh greatly on women, thereby leading to them not trying to explore their options.

She said: "I low-key wish I were a man. I feel it’s much easier for guys, but, for girls, we’ve been stigmatised, and there are so many rules and regulations covering us."
