Uzor Arukwe Opens Up On Family's Opposition Against Acting Career 

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe, has opened up on the stiff opposition he has faced from his family over his decision to pursue a career in acting.

Speaking in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Uzor Arukwe revealed that his father has not accepted his career as an actor.

He noted how his father has heard of his exploits in the movie industry, but has refused to believe it.

Arukwe also mentioned how his mother was initially on the opposing side because of her husband, however, she later came to accept his career.

He said: "My father doesn’t know that I’m an actor; he has heard, but he doesn’t want to believe.

“My mum was slow to adapt because of her husband, but she later came around."
