You Asked Me To Trust You – Brodashaggi Shares Cryptic Post, Appeals To His Maker For Help
Nigerian skitmaker and comedian Samuel A. Perry, popularly known as Brodashaggi, has shared a cryptic post appealing to his Maker for help.
The hilarious star, who was allegedly shot last month, took to his Instagram page to address God about his current state.
He noted that his trust remains in Him, even though he doesn't fully grasp everything, acknowledging that God allowed the situation for a reason.
He stated that he is still trusting and believing in Him because He has never failed him, and He never will.
He wrote: "Dear God, God, I’m still holding on because You asked me to trust You.
Even when I don’t understand it all, I know You allowed this for a reason. So I’m still trusting, still believing, still waiting on You.
You have never failed me and I know You never will."
Refreshing your memory, The Nigerian Voice reported in March that Brodashaggi was reportedly hospitalized, owing to injuries sustained from a gunshot in the Sango-Ota area of Ota of Ogun state.
Reports making the rounds indicated that the shooting incident occurred while the skitmaker was filming with members of his crew at the Sango-Ota bridge on Sunday afternoon.
While the incident surrounding the gunshot have not been made clear, the skitmaker was initially taken to receive treatment at Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State, before being transferred to Duchess Hospital in Ikeja.
Shedding light on the issue, Abimbola Adebisi, the Lagos State Police command spokesperson confirmed the hospital’s report of the issue, revealing that they swung into action immediately, before finding out that the personality in question was Brodashaggi.
“The hospital contacted the police to report that a gunshot victim had been brought to their facility. Detectives and a patrol team were immediately mobilised to the hospital, where they discovered that the victim was a skit maker and social media influencer popularly known as Broda Shaggy.”
Adebisi also clarified that due to the location of the incident being in the the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State, the command has little right over the case, however, investigations are being made.
“He was seen on a stretcher with an injury to his thigh. The location of the incident is in Sango-Ota and not within our jurisdiction, but the investigation is ongoing.
Omolola Odutola, the Ogun State Police command spokesperson, maintained that the force has not been officially informed of any case. “The incident was alleged to have occurred in Ogun State, but it was not reported.”
