Wumi Toriola Reprimands Enioluwa Adeoluwa For Calling Her By Name

Nollywood actress and producer Wumi Toriola, has reprimanded her junior colleague, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, over the way he addressed her at a recent event.

In a video making the rounds on social media, Wumi Toriola could be seen greeting her colleagues, Ini Edo, and Eniola Ajao, before Enioluwa approached them, and greeted her with, "Wumi how are you?," while trying to hug her.

Not taking the informality lightly, Wumi set the record straight by refusing his hug, and questioning whether he called her by her name, and why he performed the act.

Clarifying his action, Enioluwa stated that he never mentioned her name, stating that he addressed her with aunty.

Toriola, however, maintained that he cannot greet her by hugging her, but instead has to prostrate.

She said: “are you insane? did you just call my name? How dare you call me by my name?"

Enioluwa responded: “No no I didn’t say that. I said aunty Wumi how are you?"

Toriola responded: "you can’t greet me like that, you will have to prostrate to greet me. We are not mates.”

Following the controversy that ensued over their encounter, on social media, Wumi Toriola noted how many individuals have been debating her age, while setting the records straight.

"I saw people debating my age. Nor be everyone ise de gbo ooo. Na all my family get baby face. I finished secondary school in 2003. Do d maths. 16 nor dey enter uni that time.”
