Ubi Franklin Set To Take Legal Actions Against Cyberbullies Of Chioma Adeleke 

Nigerian music executive and the manager of Chioma Adeleke, Ubi Franklin, has announced his decision to take legal actions against those involved in cyberbullying his client.

The cyberbullies, who have been identified as Sophia lovers, and TSM Lovers Whatsapp chats was shared on social media by Ubi Franklin, who promised to incite legal action against all of them one after the other.

He wondered what crime Chioma has committed that led to the creation of Whatsapp groups to launch coordinated attacks on her.

Franklin stressed that he, Davido, and the Adeleke family are fully prepared to serve everyone involved in the act with a lawsuit.

He wrote: "one after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef chi has done to all of you, just keep opening groups to bully her, Her Husband, Me as her manager and the entire family has your time now and we will follow the rules and you will be served."

"In Nigeria, cyberbullying and cyber harassment are not treated lightly—they are criminal offences under several laws, especially the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015.

What counts as cyberbullying / harassment? Under Section 24, it is an offence to: Send messages that are offensive, obscene, indecent, or threatening

Send false messages to cause: annoyance insult hatred fear or anxiety Use the internet to bully, threaten, or harass someone, especially if it puts them in fear of harm."
