Davido Appointed Head Of Youth Mobilization For Governor Ademola Adeleke's Re-election 

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has formally been appointed as the head of youth mobilization of the campaign for his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke's gubernatorial re-election campaign.

The news which had first made the rounds on social media, was eventually confirmed by Davido in a post on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to him, he has received an appointment from Governor Adeleke to head the youth mobilization campaign council for his re-election.

The singer further affirmed his commitment to a smooth campaign and a successful re-election.

He wrote: “I have been appointed by the Governor of OSUN STATE @AAdeleke_01 and flag bearer of the ACCOD PARTY 01 as HEAD YOUTH MOBILIZATION OF CAMPAIGN COUNCIL! We look forward to a smooth campaign, and you re-elect your EXCELLENCY! 4+4."
