Nigerian Juju Musician, Y.K Ajao Is Dead

Veteran juju musician Yekini Kolawole Ajao, popularly known as Y.K Ajao, has reportedly given up the ghost.

The sad news was made public by his colleague, Shina Peters in a post on his Instagram page on Friday.

Shina Peters described the death as a hard pill to swallow, labelling the deceased as more than a friend, but brother.

He appreciated the late Juju singer, promising to carry on his goodness, while urging him to rest well.

“Still hard to believe, You weren’t just a friend, you were my brother. Prof Y.K Ajao, your sound, your spirit, your presence; unforgettable.

“Thank you for everything. I’Il carry the memories always.

“Rest well, my brother. Your legacy lives on, your music lives on, and you will never be forgotten."
