Please, Don’t Come And Harm Our Children” – Kehinde Adegbodu Appeals, As He Opens Up On Recent Robbery Incident
Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu, has made a disturbing revelation of how his house was recently attacked by armed robbers.
In a now-viral video, Kehinde revealed that during the robbery, only his late brother’s wife and children were around. According to him, the robbers made away with valuables and cash.
He also claimed that the robbers were after the recent donation made by singer Yinka Ayefele, during the burial of his twin brother, Taiwo.
The twin brother of the late Taiwo Adegbodu further lamented that the incident has put great fear in his family, particularly his kids, pleading that no one should rob them with the misconception that they are financially buoyant.
“I was in Osogbo three days ago when Taiwo’s wife called me, and her voice was shaking. She said armed robbers came to the house and were saying, ‘Where is Kehinde? Where is the room of Taiwo that d!ed? Where is their jewellery? Where is Taiwo’s phone? Where is the car key? We are here because of Kehinde. We want to see him. Where is his room? The robbers took all my clothes, valuables and cash. One of the robbers called their boss on the phone, saying that I wasn’t around
I think the robbers thought that the money Yinka Ayefele raised for us was still with me. These robbers don’t even care that we are mourning. They spent over 45 minutes at our house. The money raised for us was used to develop our building project so we could bury Taiwo there. I will post my account balance so that these robbers will know there is no money there. Please don’t come and h@rm our children. I am always on the road. I don’t have money, and I don’t live a fake life. Even the car we are using was a gift. Since the incident, our kids have been living in fear; they are scared to sleep in the house."
Recall that the Nigerian Voice reported the death of gospel singer Taiwo Adegbodu. The sad news was disclosed by his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu on Sunday, March 1st, in a social media post.
