DJ Neptune Predicts AI Takeover Of Music Production

Popularly Nigerian disc jockey and record producer, Imohiosen Patrick, widely known as DJ Neptune, has predicted that Artificial Intelligence (AI), is set to dominate the music production scene.

Neptune made the revelation on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), while reacting to media personality, N6's tweet. N6 had shared his encounter with AI, suggesting that the music production and mastering industry is on the verge of being dominated by the tool.

"AI is Quietly about to retire the entire music production and mastering Industry. I have seen scary tinz tonight. God help all of us in this ecosystem.”

Quoting the tweet, DJ Neptune agreed, sharing his recent encounter of listening to a record and almost signing the artist, until he discovered that it was AI.

“I dey tell you. Someone sent me a record to listen to some days ago and give me my feedback.

“After listening, I told the guy to sign the artist cos what I heard was out of this world. That’s how my guy said na AI work. E shook me o.”
