This Is Not Politics, This Is Pain – Kunle Remi Vents At President Tinubu, Following Jos Killings

Nollywood actor Kunle Remi, has continued his outcry for a better Nigerian, sending a message to President Tinubu, following the recent Jos killings.

Recall that many Nigerians were aggrieved following the news and video of suspected Fulani gunmen opening fire on a community in Angwa Rukuba, Jos, on Palm Sunday.

On his Instagram page, Kunle Remi shared a particular disturbing video from the gory incident, showcasing a woman holding the body of her child.

Expressing his disdain, he maintained that this cannot be the Nigeria everyone prays for in the morning, neither the reward for hardwork, nor the future we promise.

He stated that this is the President's birthday message, wishing that it gets to him. He stressed that many Nigerians are just holding themselves, in order not to lose everything, labelling the current state of the country as pain, rather than politics.

He said:

"You wake up.

You pray.

You thank God for life.

Then you open the internet… and you see this.

A Nigerian woman crying.

Watching someone she loves slip away.

No power. No help. No system.

Just bombing, violence, suspected gunmen.

Pain and Tears.

And you ask yourself…

How did we get here?

This cannot be the country we pray for every morning.

This cannot be the reward for hard work.

This cannot be the future we keep promising ourselves.

Maybe this is the real birthday message to Mr President today.

Not the official statements.

Not the press releases.

Just this pain.

I hope this reaches you.

I hope you see what Nigerians are carrying.

I hope one day leadership will truly feel the weight of the people.

Happy birthday, Mr President.

Because while candles are being blown somewhere…

Many Nigerians are just trying not to lose everything.

This is not politics.

This is pain.
