Davido Set To Release African Songs Without Incorporating Western Sounds

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed his new focus on the next phase of his music career.

The 'Feel' crooner, while speaking on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart Show with Eddie Kadi, mentioned his impactful and career achievements, highlighting how he has performed in several venues, sold various arenas, including attending three Grammys in the last three years.

Davido, however, mentioned that the next stage of his career is focused on his authentic self, which is "very African." According to him, the new class of music would be fully African without incorporating Western Sounds.

"This part of my career, I have performed everywhere, sold out every arena, I have been to three Grammys in the last three years. The music that is coming next is very Davido, it is very African. We have done it so I am not really looking to really do western sounds."
