Actress Debbie Shokoya Denies News Of 'Obesere' Being Her Father 

Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has refuted the claims that singer Obesere is her biological father.

Reports suggested that the actress had allegedly cried out that Obesere is her biological father.

Setting the records straight in a video broadcast, Debbie Shokoya denied ever meeting Obesere, stating that she resembles her biological father.

According to her, the news peddled about her crying, are fake. She urged bloggers to stop misleading the public, noting how many netizens are not independent to decipher fake news, hence the online insults she has suffered.

Shokoya further urged bloggers to share her clarification video in order to retract their earlier claims about her.

“It is not funny anymore; the news is everywhere. I have never met Obesere before, and you claim I said he’s my biological father? Don’t I look like my father? Am I not my biological father’s replica?

“Obesere is not my biological father. Please stop spreading fake news! Stop writing or posting things I never said. Some commentators do not even think well enough to know that these things are fake; they start to throw abuses.

"I’ve never said or written this, nor did I cry out as they claimed. Please stop spreading false news. Bloggers should also post this video the same way they were quick to jump on that misconception."
