Papa Ajasco: Actor, Biodun Ayoyinka Changes Name To 'Bondu Alaska'
In a career-defining move, veteran comic actor Biodun Ayoyinka, famous for his role as Papa Ajasco, has changed his identity to 'Bondu Alaska.'
Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that the veteran actor Abiodun Ayoyinka in a viral interview with content creator Lucky Udu, opened up on his financial struggles, despite being well-known for playing the popular Papa Ajasco character.
He revealed that the character was trademarked by Wale Adenuga production company, thereby restricting him from making money off it without prior permission from Wale Adenuga Productions (WAPTV).
Making a new move following the viral interview, Ayoyinka shared a video on his now-changed Instagram page, revealing his new identity.
He also expressed gratitude to Nigerians for showing up for him, adding that he is a changed person now.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning Nigerians. My name is Bondu Alaska. The one and only Bondu Alaska
"I want to use this medium to thank Nigerians because they have done a lot in my life. I’m a new person now, and I promise that I will not let you down.”
In his caption, he expressed gratitude to content creator, Lucky Udu, and everyone who have stood by him during this challenging period.
He wrote: Thank you all Nigerian 😍! 😂 I’m blown away by the love and support! 🙏 Your energy is what keeps me going! Thanks for believing in me and being part of this journey 🥰 From the likes, shares, and comments to the prayers and kind words – every bit counts! 😊 I’m grateful for each and every one of you!
