He Is Trying To Unite Nigerian – Actor Aremu Afolayan Explains Decision To Support President Tinubu's Re-election

Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has declared his support for President Tinubu to run for a second term in office.

Afolayan, who has joined the president's campaign team, admitted that he is unaware of the tremendous hardship that Nigerians bemaoan.

He praised President Tinubu, crediting him for being instrumental in lifting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ban on Nigerians.

According to him, many Nigerians have focused their attention on criticizing the President and his efforts, adding that Tinubu is doing a lot of good works, including uniting Nigerians.

Aremu Afolayan further downplayed the rate of insecurity and insurgency in Nigeria, stating that "it's all scripted."

He said: “When people say the country is hard, I don’t really know what that is. When the UAE banned Nigerians from entering their country, it was President Tinubu who went there, met with their president, and helped lift the ban. I was very happy and praising Tinubu. Nigeria has many problems, but most Nigerians seem more focused on criticizing him and his efforts.

“The good work President Tinubu is doing is why I support him. He is trying to unite Nigerians.

"And when you watch the news about insurgency, don’t mind them it’s all scripted."
