Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has been left overwhelmed, following the addition of her name to the casts of media mogul, Mo Abudu's film adaptation of Lola Shoneyin Internationally acclaimed 2010 novel: 'The Secret Lives Of Baba Segi's Wives

She opened up on the process before the role, revealing that she was awestruck when she got the call, while praising Mo Abudu for being the most welcoming woman she has ever met.

Dropping a word of advice, Nkechi Blessing urged the public to keep striving for success, emphasizing that the result would eventually show up one day.

She wrote:

"And God said at his own appointed time, I will make it happen.

After so many years in this industry, I, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, am finally having a spot at the top, I mean me? A cast in the most anticipated movie of the year? I mean, a @moabudu Production? Somebody pinch me.

When I got this call to come in for a reading, I thought they had dialled the wrong number. I couldn’t sleep, so I woke up earlier than usual so that I won’t run late. I walked into that room where I met the most beautiful, soft, kind, warm, and very, very welcoming woman I’ve ever met, Mummy @moabudu. I tried to maintain steeze and composure, but inside me, I wanted to scream.

I have a whole lot to type, but I will stop here and wait for the day this movie hits the cinema.

No matter what you think you are doing, be very good at it and stay focused. Trust me, so many people are watching, and to you all who called me a failed actress at every given opportunity.

This year 2026 you will eat your words and drink your tears, as long as GOD is still seated on the throne of mercy, I Nkechi Blessing Sunday will continue to excel, prosper and walk into every room full of opportunities, and to my dearest @mimi_bartels___ You will call one, and one million will answer.

I really do not have the right words right now, but God, in his infinite mercy, will guide, provide, and protect you and your generation yet unborn.

THANK YOU is never enough. This Orphan is forever grateful."
