Toyin Abraham Warns Timini Egbuson Against Publicly Supporting Any Candidate In The Forthcoming Elections

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham, has advised her colleague, Timini Egbuson to avoid displaying his support for any candidate in the forthcoming elections.

The box-office queen used her case as an example, noting how her public support during the last election affected her career greatly.

Abraham, who was advising Timini, whose movie 'Love and New Notes' is currently in the cinemas, urged him to stay neutral, avoid supporting anyone in order to succeed in the box-office.

"The first advice I will give you in my entire life is don’t put your mouth in politics. Don’t tell them you’re supporting anybody. Don’t support anybody, just be on your own. Be neutral.”

She further emphasized that due to her open support for President Tinubu during the last election, her career suffered, particularly the movie she released in 2024.

Recall that Toyin Abraham openly declared her support for President Tinubu in the last elections in 2023. The act didn't sit down well with many netizens, who criticized her, slammed her, and threatened to boycott her cinema movies.
