She Doesn't Joke With Her Health — Rotimi Salami Speaks On Allwell Ademola's Death

Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami, has shared insights about the health status of his friend and late colleague, Allwell Ademola.

The Yoruba movie star, while speaking on the Oyinmomo TV program, addressed the speculations surrounding her death, stating that it has been ordained.

He stated that anyone can suffer cardiac arrest, noting that the late actress was well aware of her health situation, and took great care of it.

"I believe it was just her time. It’s simple – cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Most people know she’s asthmatic, but she doesn’t joke with her health."

Rotimi Salami also spoke on his bond with Allwell Ademola before her death, explaining that his wife was aware and in no way opposed it.

The Nigerian Voice reported that the Nollywood industry, particularly the Yoruba movie industry, was thrown into mourning over the death of actress Princess Allwell Ademola, who was announced to have suffered a heart attack which led to her death at the age of 49 on Saturday , December 27, 2025. Many actors and actresses took to their respective social media pages to express their shock at her sudden demise.

The late Allwell Ademola's service of songs was held on Thursday, January 8, and was well-attended by several Nollywood stars, including Wumi Toriola, Iyabo Ojo, Odunlade Adekola, Rotimi Salami, amongst others.
