Tonto Dikeh Responds To Critics Of Her Deliverance Session; Reiterates Faith In Christ 

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh, has been undeterred in her faith, amid the criticisms that have trailed her video of conducting deliverance on a primary school student.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that Tonto Dikeh recently took her new-found faith in Christ to the next level, as she stormed a school to perform an evangelism outreach. In the videos and pictures posted on her Instagram page, she also conducted prayers of deliverance for a child.

The video sparked numerous conversations on social media, with several criticisms trailing her actions.

On her Instagram page today, the movie star emphasized that she has a serious assignment to handle than to focus on distractions.

Boldly reiterating her faith, she expressed unfazeness over the mockery, ridicule from the public, stating that she would in no way hide God to protect her image before mortals.

Promising her Maker, she vowed to wear mockery and carry reproach, because He is worth it. She also stated that she is well aware of the ploys of the devil, and she is not giving in to it.

She wrote: "THE ASSIGNMENT GOD HAS PLACED UPON ME IS TOO IMPORTANT TO GET DISTRACTED.

MY EYES ARE ON JESUS AND HE NEEDS NO ONE TO DEFEND HIS NAME.

I EVANGELIST TONTO DIKEH WOULD RATHER BE MOCKED, RIDICULED, OR EVEN SLAIN THAN SILENCE THE NAME OF THE ONE WHO SAVED ME. I REFUSE TO HIDE GOD TO PROTECT MY IMAGE BEFORE MERE MORTALS.
