Sydney Talker's Advice Made Me Stop Going To Church — Carter Efe
Nigerian streamer and content creator Oderhowho Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has opened up on his Christian faith, and the incident that made him quit attending service.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the streamer explained that he was a regular church-goer, however, he stopped after finding out the malicious intention of a close church-goer.
Offering insights into what transpired, he revealed that his colleague Sydney Talker advised him against Streaming, which he considered a malicious advise at the time.
He also disclosed how Sydney Talker urged him to let go of his associate Kolu with N1million, citing how Kolu's former boss Portable could attack him with charm.
Taken aback by the advise from someone he considered a devoted Christian, Carter Efe revealed that it shook his faith, and made him quit attending church.
He said:
"I used to go to church but I stopped because I noticed that a lot of churchgoers are very malicious. For example, Sydney Talker goes to church consistently yet he advised me to quit streaming. I see that as malicious advice.
"He has even advised me before to discharge Kolu with 1 million naira but I refused. That was when I decided to make Kolu my best friend. He said that I should discharge Kolu because his former boss Portable has juju and could attack me.
“I wonder why Sidney Talker is afraid of juju despite his consistency in church. I was surprised by his advice because I was beginning to gain traction and then suddenly he advised me to stop. What reason would you have to tell me to calm down? It seemed malicious to me."
