There Is No Pain That Can Stop My Grind - Carter Efe Declares, Shares Robbery Incident That Claimed Father's Life

Nigerian streamer and content creator Oderhowho Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe has opened up on his experience with pain, and how it has increased his resolve to attain success

The biggest streamer on Twitch in Africa, while speaking in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, shared that one of the most traumatizing experiences for him was how his dad was brutally murdered by robbers, camouflaged in military uniform.

According to Efe, his father concluded his duty for the day, and decided to move with the police van to alight at the nearest bus-stop to their home in Ogun State.

He, however, revealed that the experience turned bloody, as the police van ran into a gridlock, where some men were robbing with military camouflage, unknowingly to the police officers.

He revealed that as the officers tried to find out the issue, the robbers opened fire on them, which led to the death of his dad.

Carter Efe explained that the experience remains traumatizing, as he can easily find the video on YouTube and social media, of the gruesome murder of his father.

Linking the experience to his career, he maintained that he has suffered pain, hence his strengthened resolve to succeed.

He said: “My dad had closed from duty and was heading home but he decided to enter the police van to the nearest bus-stop to our house, we were saying at Ogun State.

“However, they ran into a gridlock and some men in military camouflage were robbing. My dad and his colleagues alighted from the van to check what was going but immediately the robbers spotted them in police uniform, they opened fire on them. My dad is on YouTube, I saw my dad’s lifeless body on the ground with police uniform.”

“I am not stranger to pain. I have gone through a lot of pains. So, there is no pain that will make me stop my grind.”
