Rema Opens Up On Pre-rituals Before Stage Performance

Afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has opened up on his pre-rituals act before any stage performance.

The 'Fun' crooner made this known in an interview with Dazed on the sidelines of the Milan Fashion Week, where he walked the runway for Diesel.

According to him, taking a little alcohol, smoking, praying, then sound checking with his team is done before he mounts the stage.

"A little Tequila, a little cigarette, pray, tap in with the team and make sure everything is on cue."

Rema stated that performing requires great efforts, as the singer has to keep the crowd locked in.

"Performing has a lot to do with your breathwork and you have to keep the crowd going.”

Opening up on his latest music taste, he revealed that he has been listening to Sudanese music.

"I have been listening to a lot of Sudanese cultural live music."

He, however, labelled " smoking" as his biggest" vice."
