Saidi Balogun Opens Up On How Tinubu And Wife Came Through For Him Following Accident

Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, has shared a compassionate encounter between himself, President Tinubu and his wife Oluremi Tinubu, following his accident some years ago.

The Yoruba actor, recounted the encounter while speaking during a recent interview with OYINMOMO TV, revealing that Tinubu and his wife requested for him to be flown out of the country to receive medical attention over his accident.

He explained that he was eventually treated well in Nigeria, however, he was struck on the reason behind the love shown to him by the couple.

To satisfy his curiosity, he enquired from her on the reason behind their help, and she stated that he is a star, whose light must not dim.

Balogun revealed that her response changed his mindset about showing compassion to others.

He said: "When I had an accident. President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and asked that I be taken abroad for treatment. I was well treated in Nigeria. I asked aunty why she did it.

“She said, ‘You are a star of God, and they must not let your light dim.’ It was from her I learnt that if you take care of someone else’s child, God will take care of yours.”
