'Oversabi Aunty' Grosses N1Billion, Becomes 4th Nollywood Highest Grossing Film Of All Time

In a new milestone for Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, her December cinema release 'Oversabi Aunty' has now grossed over N1Billion in the box office.

The unprecedented record was made public by Toyin Abraham on her Instagram page. Beyond grossing over a billion in the box-office, the movie also sees the actress emerge as the first Nollywood directorial debut to hit N1Billion, and also the fourth highest grossing Nollywood film of all time.

Reacting to her new feat, the movie star expressed gratitude to her Maker, her fans, Nigerians, her cast, her crew, and her movie's distribution company, FilmOne.

Sharing how overwhelmed she is, she noted that despite it being her directorial debut, it has surpassed her expectations.
