'Behind The Scenes' Further Cements Box-office Status Beyond Africa, Funke Akindele Reacts 

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, is in her season of setting new records, as her December cinema release 'Behind The Scenes' has continued in its impressive record.

In the new development announced by the film's distributor FilmoneNg, 'Behind The Scenes' has now taken its domination beyond the shores of Africa to other countries. Currently, the movie now holds the record for the highest grossing Nollywood release in Canada with $111,256, and Nollywood BIGGEST EVER RELEASE IN NORTH AMERICA with $190,249.

Interestingly, in Africa, the movie has further cemented its record by grossing N2.28BILLION, making it Nollywood's Highest Grossing movie of all time.

Reacting to her win, Funke Akindele admitted that she is overwhelmed with gratitude, stating that she takes none of this unprecedented wins for granted. She also penned a message of gratitude to all her fans and lovers of her movie for putting in the efforts to make sure her movie keeps setting records.

She wrote: "I'm honestly overwhelmed with gratitude, and I don't take any of this for granted.
