Singer Destiny Boy Reportedly Dies At 22

Up-and-coming Afro-fuji singer, Afeez Adesina, better known as Destiny Boy, has reportedly passed on.

The news of the 22-year-old singer's death was made public by Instagram investigative journalist Temilola Sobola, who didn't share further details concerning his death.

"Singer Destiny Boy has passed away. May his soul Rest In Peace.”

Further confirming the sad news, celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut, via his Instagram page, stated that Destiny Boy has passed on, revealing that the news was made public by his friend. Ednut explained that the reason he couldn't post videos of the singer's death was due to its" graphic" nature.

He wrote:

"Destiny Boy has reportedly passed away.

The news was shared few hours ago by his friend, and the cause of d**th is still unknown.

May his soul rest in peace This is sad Oo! The videos online are just too graphic. I couldn't post them. Damn..."

The news of Destiny Boy's death is coming as a rude shock to the entertainment industry, as the youngster is still struggling to find his feet in the music scene. Destiny Boy gained traction with his Fuji remix of Davido's 'If' in 2017, and that propelled the beginning of his struggle as an artiste in the Nigerian music industry.
