EbonyLife Films Set For Global Theatrical Release Of First-ever Feature Film Adaptation Of 'The Secret Lives Of Baba Segi's Wives'

In a strategic move to position African stories on the global map and fulfill its vision of being the most influential storyteller of a new Africa, EbonyLiife Films is set for the global theatrical December release of Lola Shoneyin's Internationally acclaimed 2010 novel: 'The Secret Lives Of Baba Segi's Wives.'

The announcement was made public by media mogul and CEO of EbonyLife Group, Mo Abudu. According to her, "this is the first-ever feature film adaptation of Lola Shoneyin's acclaimed masterpiece."

She also shared that her company has secured an "unprecedented partnership" with some of Africa's famous film and distribution companies, including: Genesis Group, Nile Media Entertainment Group, and Silverbird group, in a bid to "bring this powerhouse story to the world stage."

Additionally, the movie has put together a strong cast in order to bring the 'Global Theatrical Release' plan to fruition. The strong cast reveal list includes: Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Ademoye, Omowunmi Dada, Shaffy Bello, Bisola Aiyeola, Lateef Adedimeji, Kunle Remi, Bolaji Ogunmola, Bimbo Manuel, Tina Mbah, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Rotimi Fakunle, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, and Constance Olatunde.
