Family Releases Official Burial Arrangements For 'Omije Ojumi' Crooner 

The family of late gospel singer Bunmi Akinnaanu, has released the burial arrangements for the deceased.

In an official poster shared by the late singer's colleague, Ayo Melody on his Facebook page, the different burial rites were listed out with some important criteria.

According to the poster, the Service of Songs is scheduled for Tuesday 20th January, 2026 by 4pm; the Candle Light Procession is scheduled for the same day, however, it commences by 7pm; the Artistes' night is also scheduled for the same day, and to be held by 8pm-12pm, while the internment will take place on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 by 10am.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the gospel music industry was thrown into grief following the announcement of the death of 'Omije Ojumi' crooner, Bunmi Akinnaanu.

The shocking news made the rounds on Wednesday January 14, and was first made public by her colleague Ayo Melody on behalf of her family. The Yoruba gospel singer, via his Instagram page, shared a picture of his late colleague, sharing how she gave up the ghost in a Lagos hospital on Monday, January 12.
