DNA Test: Anu Adeleke Issues Paternity Claims; Davido Blows Hot, Counters Claims With Further Revelations
Social media has been thrown into a frenzy following an ongoing back and forth between Afrobeats star Davido and his alleged daughter, Anu Adeleke.
The online drama began on Thursday, January 15, when a teenager Anu Adeleke, in a post on her Instagram page, shared an update about her life growing up. She revealed that she has always towed the right path, avoided irresponsible acts and drugs.
According to her, the letter being drafted is an emotional one, stating that she is seriously looking forward to establishing her identity. She opened up on how she was subjected to bullying, including facing mental anguish, and eventually had to see a medical professional to protect her health. She however, threw the bombshell, appealing to Afrobeats star Davido to carry out a DNA test in order to “establish my identity.”
The statement read: “Happy New Year 2026.20 26 I am a bit late into the 15th day of the month but I've been busy getting back to school after the holidays with family and friends. This year I become a teenager. My mom and grandma has always educated me on being a responsible teen. No drugs, alcohol, bad company and bad behavior. Today I drafted a letter I wrote from the depth of my heart not with help from my relatives. As I grow older I want to establish my identity. I was bullied in school since I was 6-years-old and cried home daily. Other students laughed at me when I told them my father was Mr David Adeleke. I went through a lot of mental anguish and visited a medical professional to protect my mental health. It was a sad challenging time in my life. This page was not online for 5 years as my mom never updated this account since it was handed over to us. We went through a lot. Despite the challenges, I still excelled to the top of the class and became the class prefect. We posted some of my report cards on this page. Now that I'm in secondary school and still excelling in my studies, I don't talk about my family history anymore. However on that note as I transition into a young woman, I am respectfully asking Mr David Adeleke Singer @davido for a DNA test to establish my identity. This test is between my dad and I. It is something I want. It is something that's the right thing to do. Please sir, consider my request once you read this post. I also sent it to your DM. Thank you to all Nigerians who have given me emotional support for the last 7 years. This DNA test is the right thing to do for me. Following the traction from the viral claim, many netizens began dropping several takes, which led Davido to break his silence, thereby sharing his own side of the story. The 30BG boss, in a series of posts on his X handle revealed that 5 DNA tests had been previously conducted to ascertain her paternity. Blowing hot he urged them to let him be, stating that the alleged daughter should go find her father.

In another post, while responding to a netizen’s enquiry, Davido claimed that he had never met Anu’s mother until the DNA. He also threatened to treat their mess, stressing that her mother needs to go to jail.
“Never met the bitch … except when went For the DNA … very stupid behavior I will soon treat their FK … 5 fucking hospitals just to be clear .. the mom needs to go to jail … I don’t blame the poor
girl ..” Additionally, he shared how he chose three hospitals to carry out the DNA test, while they chose two hospitals, and the results came out negative.
