I'm Officially In Pre-production For My Fifth Film - Filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba Reveals, As She Marks Birthday 

Nollywood filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba, is celebrating her birthday with a heartwarming announcement.

The award-winning filmmaker who turns 46, via her Instagram page, revealed that her new age feels deeply reflective. She expressed gratitude to the lessons 2025 brought her way, sharing how it stretched, refined, and unlocked new levels of growth in all ramifications. According to her, the previous year was one where she came to terms with her gift, her grace, and the responsibility that comes with it.

Sharing her new plan, Adetiba revealed that she is currently in the pre-production stage for her fifth film, which is her big 5; she explained that she would not be disclosing the name of the movie for now.

Drawing anticipation in her fans, she admitted that her announcement would raise enthusiasm, however, she promises to reveal further details about the movie in the coming days, urging her fans to stay tuned.

She wrote: "It's my birthday today, and this one feels deeply reflective.

I'm profoundly grateful for all the lessons 2025 brought my way.

It stretched me, refined me, and unlocked new levels of growth... creatively, spiritually, and personally.

Last year, I truly came into myself. I embraced my gift, my grace, and the responsibility that comes with both.

And as a new year begins, I'm thankful for the countless ways God has shown up for me. For my incredible family, my friends, and for my absolutely amazing husband.... God really did me a solid in that department.

I'm grateful for health, for the big wins and the quiet victories, and for the strength to keep showing up. I pray for the grace and fortitude to do even more, in ways seen and unseen.

This new year now brings a new challenge... and I'm ready.

I'm officially in pre-production for my fifth film... my Big 5. I'm holding the title-name close for now, so let's call it
