Funke Akindele's 'Behind The Scenes' Crosses N200 Million In Its First Weekend 

It is a time of celebration and congratulations for Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, as her recently released cinema movie 'Behind The Scenes,' has begun setting records.

The box-office queen, who is famous for her dominance of movies, has gone on to further cement her status as one of Nollywood's great with the milestone achieved by her new movie.

The movie which was released in Nigeria cinemas on Friday, December 12, now holds the record for the: Biggest opening weekend with over N200 million, shattering five opening-weekend records, and stands as the biggest opening of 2025.

Announcing the actress' win was Africa's Number 1 film distributor, FilmOne NG, on Instagram.
