‎Cash App Is Divine - Bella Shmurda Reveals Inspiration Behind 2020 Hit Song

Nigerian singer, Akinbiyi Ahmed, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has opened up on the reason behind his 2020 hit song 'Cash App.'

The singer, while speaking in a recent interview with Clout Africa, was quizzed on the inspiration behind 'Cash App.'

"What inspired Cash App? Were you doing Yahoo?”

Responding to the interviewer, Bella explained that the song was aimed at internet fraudsters, stating that the work they do is uneasy and comes with several challenges.

He further shared that there is no real story behind the song, emphasizing that it came naturally.

He said: “It is Yahoo in the sense that they [Yahoo boys] have to dance. These people that are hustling, you have to make them happy. Because internet fraud is stressful. It has a lot of challenges.

“The truth is, when it comes to inspiration, you don’t have any story behind it. It is natural, it just comes. It is God-given. So, Cash App is divine."

Recall that Bella Shmurda began gaining traction in the Nigerian music industry following the release of 'Cash App' featuring rappers Zlatan and Lincoln, in 2020.
