Insecurity: Davido Condemns Recent Killings, Sends Condolence Message To Families Affected
Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has lent his voice on the ongoing insecurity and terrorism issues that has plagued Nigerian.
The 30BG boss comments follows the reports of the killing of three persons during a church programme at a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, in Kwara State on Tuesday evening, with the abduction of some members and the pastor.
This incident follows the tragic abduction of 25 secondary schoolgirls in Kebbi State on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Davido took to his social media pages to express his sadness with the insecurity issues. He stressed that such acts should not become the new norm, while extending a heart of love to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi and their families.
He also addressed the recent attack on the church in Kwara State, emphasizing that Nigerians don't deserve such. Davido further urged individuals who possess helpful information about the recent events to come forward and ensure to inform the appropriate authorities in order to thwart these issues.
He wrote: "These acts of violence must never become our norm.
“My heart goes out to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi and their families. No family deserves this pain.
“As Nigerians, we must stand together in unity and continue working towards a country where every child can grow up in safety and hope.
“Also, I am deeply saddened by the tragic attack on the church in Kwara State. I pray for the families who lost loved ones and everyone affected by this heartbreaking incident. These acts of violence must never become our norm. Everything must be done to bring the girls home safely. I urge anyone with credible information to come forward in whatever safe and responsible way they can, so it can support the ongoing efforts to rescue them."
