‎I Am Sorry I Mentioned Your Late Father That Made You Upset - Lege Miami Apologizes To Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali 

Nigerian content creator Kehinde Adams, better known as Lege Miami, has tendered his formal apology to Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, following his reference of his late father in a post on social media.

Recall that following Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after losing on penalties to DR Congo in the African playoffs; many Nigerians had heavily criticized the players.

Lege Miami took his further by mentioning the players, and slamming them for their actions, referencing Nwabali's late father in the process. This did not sit down well with the footballer who warned him to desist from mentioning his late father while criticizing him.

Accepting his mistakes, Lege Miami, in a recent post on social media, apologized to the Super Eagles goalie for referencing his late father.

Emphasizing his stance, he stressed that Nwabali doesn't take heed to corrections, noting how his on-field displays put the team under pressure several times. He explained that his criticism is drawn from a place of correction.

He wrote: "First, I am sorry I mentioned your late dad that made you upset, but you don’t like listening to corrections. When they correct you, you like to act like a big man on the pitch. Your hanky-panky on the pitch is too much. You are supposed to give your colleagues courage, but you play with the ball inside the box. You do a lot of mistakes, we are trying to correct you.”
