‎Peggy Should Be In Police Custody For A Case Of Assault - Stanley Ontop Bemoans, Urges Police To Arrest Peggy Ovire Over Assault

Nigerian movie producer, Stanley Ontop, has clamoured for the arrest of his collegue, Peggy Ovire, following her assault of actor, Taye Arimoro.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Taye Arimoro has called out Peggy for assaulting him, accusing her of ordering her crew members and driver to assault him, because he decided to leave the set upon the agreed time.

Peggy had denied the claims, accusing the actor of assaulting her first, however, a viral CCTV footage shows the actress assaulting the actor throughout the encounter.

Reacting to the situation on his Instagram page, Stanley Ontop called for the arrest of Peggy. Tagging the Nigerian police force, he narrated how an actor was assaulted by a producer and her driver under the grounds of refusing to shoot beyond 12am, which was their agreed time.

He clamoured for the arrest of Peggy, stating that it is a case of assault, and the Lagos State Police command should look into it.

He wrote: "Dear @nigeriapoliceforce, a Nollywood actor called @tayearimoro was assaulted by a producer, Peggy and her driver. The actor refused to shoot beyond 12 am because the contract he had with Peggy had already expired. Instead of Peggy pleading with him, she assaulted him and also told her driver to assault him too, which resulted in a serious injury.

“Peggy should be in police custody as we speak now for a case of assault. I am calling on Lagos State Police Command to act quickly in arresting Peggy. CCTV has shown how Peggy and his gang of crew surrounded Taye’s vehicle in an attempt to beat him.”
