A Place Where People Justify Violence Against Women, But Envy Their Freedom - Tacha Slams Nigerians
Big Brother Naija star, Natasha Akide, better known as Tacha, has slammed Nigerians, over their takes on Regina Daniels' marital crisis.
The ex-housemate, via the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, bemoaned the challenges that comes with being a woman in this part of the world, stating that "it feels like a crime."
Blowing hot, Tacha wondered how, despite the actress' cries of being raped, drugged, and beaten, the society is dragging her for formerly living a life of convenience.
She further stressed that we are in a society where people justify violence against women, but envy their freedom.
She wrote: "Being a woman in this part of the world feels like a crime.
“Someone cries out that she been raped, drugged, and beaten, and instead of outrage, society starts dragging her for flying private jets and traveling the world.
“So because she lived well, she deserves to be abused?
That’s the sickness of this society a place where people justify violence against women but envy their freedom.
“At this point, what hope does the girl child even have?
