Veteran Nollywood actress Peju Ogunmola, has made her first social media appearance since the death of her only child.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported in September that the actress had lost her only child, Ayomikun to the cold hands of death. The news threw the Nollywood industry, particularly the Yoruba movie industry into a period of mourning, as many actors and actresses stood in solidarity with their colleague.

Making her first social media appearance, Peju, in a viral video on her Instagram page, revealed that it is a new month and a new dawn for her.

She noted how the past months have been heavy, however, the love, prayers, and condolences, have been carrying her through the storm.

She further announced that she is fully ready to embrace her passion again, stating that she has missed the screen.

"A new month, a new dawn. The past months have been heavy, but your love, prayers, and condolences have carried me through the storm.

Today I rise, stronger, grateful, and ready to embrace my passion again.

The screens have missed me… and I’m back, doing what I love most."
