‎Other Public Officials Should Also Be Held Accountable - Odumodublvck Tells Nigerians

Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has given his take on the issues surrounding the political space in Nigeria.

The 'Declan Rice' crooner expressed his view on Nigerian politics, while speaking in a recent episode of the BET Talks podcast, where he described politics in Nigeria as a "shambolic scene."

According to him, politics is a game of influence, noting how a person with good intentions would be faced with bad individuals who try to override his good intentions.

Odumodublvck further urged Nigerians to avoid holding only the president accountable for the issues plaguing the country. According to him, there are so many offices that are in charge of several things, and as such, those offices should be held accountable.

He said: "Politics in Nigeria is a shambolic scene like everywhere in the world. When you gives man power, it never really goes as planned regardless of whether the person is good or bad. If the person is bad, bad people are going to make him worse. And if the person is good, you will have bad people trying to contaminate the good.

Nigerians have been so brainwashed that when there is a problem, the first thing they think about is the president. You have your local chairman, councillor, senator, who are directly representing you, but you are holding only the president accountable for all the challenges our society is facing. Other public officials should also be held accountable."
