‎What Started As Passion And Discipline Has Now Become A Movement Of Its Own - Femi Adebayo Elated As 'Seven Doors' Becomes Research Work

Popular Nollywood actor, Femi Adebayo, has expressed his joy over his 2024 Netflix movie 'Seven Doors' being a research work.

The award-winning filmmaker, via his Instagram page, shared a screenshot of an X user with the name Oyinda, who tagged him in September on the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, revealing that she did her project on the topic "Aesthetic of oral performance in Femi Adebayo's Seven Doors."

Femi Adebayo, who had replied her, and praised her, took to his Instagram page to further express his elation at the milestone.

He stated that he is grateful to see his art move from just the stage into academia, noting how an ordinary passion has now become a strong force to reckon with.

He wrote: "From taking acting seriously... to becoming a subject of study. Everything came full circle when I met Oyinda at Obafemi Awolowo University, as she presented her research on The Aesthetics of Oral Performance in Femi Adebayo's Seven Doors.

Grateful to see my art echo beyond the stage - into academia. What started as passion and discipline has now become a movement of its own. I feel honored and motivated to keep giving my best."
