“I Will Never Take Another Day For Granted” - Adesua Etomi Declares As She Reminisces On How She Could Have Lost Her Life In June

Popular Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has reminisced on an incident in June which could have taken her life.

The wife of music executive Banky W, via her Instagram page, made a series of post to share an idea of what she went through during that period.

She revealed that she was involved in a horrific incident that landed her in an unplanned surgery, stating that the surgery was ironically the least dramatic part of what she went through.

The mother of two boys further stressed that if just one single details of that day were different, she wouldn't be here today.

Admonishing the public, she urged them to prioritize being softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving and peaceful.

Additionally, she promised to never take another day for granted, urging the public to do the same.

She wrote: “Long read, but please stay with me. I could have lost my life in June of this year. I went through a horrific incident that landed me in unplanned surgery.

The surgery was ironically the least dramatic part of what I went through.

I was in the UK with my husband and sons (sons? I have two sons).

We were there to serve God. We had two speaking engagements. One in London and the other in Manchester.

If even one single detail of that day were different, I wouldn’t be here today. I shudder when I think about it. The thing about these sorts of experiences is that they change you, and they changed me, but not in the way you’d expect.

I have become even more aware of the goodness and presence of God. Like a map, I can literally look back over that day and trace how His hands were all over that situation. There is nothing anyone can tell me, God is real!

Today, I woke up, felt the rain on my face, went to church, sang praises to God, prayed, toasted my husband, hugged my babies a little tighter, laughed, ate, chatted with some of my friends… What a miraculous day I have already experienced.

Let’s be softer, kinder, gentler, forgiving, patient, loving, and peaceful.

I will never take another day for granted. Neither should you.”
