Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Phillips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow, has penned a heartfelt message ahead of her 83rd birthday.

The Yoruba actress, via her Instagram page, shared stunning photos of herself, revealing that it remains 4 days to her birthday, which is 16th of October.

Appreciating her maker for the precious gift of life and for good health, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her fans who have constantly supported her from 1950 till today.

Counting down to her 83rd birthday, she urged her family all over the world to get set to gift her.

She wrote: "Happy Sunday, Family! 4 Days to Go! On the 16th of October, I’ll be celebrating my 83rd birthday! I thank Almighty God for the precious gift of life and for keeping me strong and healthy.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to all my amazing fans who have supported me from the 1950s until today. Your love and encouragement have been my strength. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, along with my wonderful team, who helped make my 60 years on stage and 83rd birthday photos so beautiful.

To my beloved family, thank you for always being there. I look forward to receiving my birthday gifts from Nigeria, Cairo (Egypt), the United States, and Canada with love and appreciation.
