Kie Kie Elated As 'Gingerrr' Becomes Highest Grossing Non-festive Nollywood Title In 2025

Nollywood actress and skitmaker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, better known as Kie Kie is celebrating her latest movie triumph.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported last month that 'Gingerrr,' was released in cinemas on September 26. The movie is heralded by popular Nollywood actress and producer, Wumi Toriola, popular content creator and actress, Kie Kie, actress Bolaji Ogunmola, actress Bisola Aiyelola, and actress Ope Ajayi.

Following the release of the movie, it has begun setting records.

Announcing and reacting to the latest achievement of the movie, Kie Kie, via her Instagram page, shared some of the movie's latest achievement including: grossing 185 million Naira in the box office, becoming the highest grossing September Nollywood title in 11 days, film of the weekend for 2 consecutive weekends, and the highest grossing non-festive Nollywood title in 2025.

She urged her fans to continue to see the movie in cinema.
