Davido Reveals He Almost Quit Music Before Hit Song With Omah Lay

Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he almost exited the music industry before his hit song “With You” featuring Omah Lay.

Speaking in a viral interview, the "Feel" crooner, stated some artistes get their breakthrough songs early in their career, while others in the middle, however, in his own case, he got it after spending up to 13-14 years.

He further shared that he was considering stepping back from the industry, but God blessed him with the song that has changed his journey.

He said: "Some artists get that kind of song at the start of their careers, others in the middle. For me, 13–14 years in, I was even thinking of bowing out. Then God blessed me with this song. It added more life to my journey."
