Singer Davido Joins Recording Academy, Grammys Awards

It is a time of celebration and congratulations for Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, as he has officially become a member of the reputable recording academy, Grammys.

The singer, who has just joined the recording academy ahead of the 2026 Grammys, will have the opportunity to contribute his quota in the upcoming award ceremony.

Speaking about his admission into the Recording Academy, Davido said:

"I have learned that voting empowers you to have a say in what is considered and voted on in each season

He further expressed enthusiasm over joining the Recording Academy.

Recall that Davido bagged his first 3 Grammys nominations at the 2024 ceremony, which he eventually lost.
