Popular Nollywood actor-turned-pastor, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known as Woli Arole, has addressed the ongoing debate that has trailed the official speech of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola at the wedding of his daughter, Temi Otedola.

Recall that Temi Otedola and her long-time lover, singer Mr Eazi, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Iceland in August.

Weeks after the wedding, the official pictures and videos from the wedding were released, with billionaire businessman advising his daughter Temi Otedola on submission to her husband, "One thing I'll advise you, Temi, is that you have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. He's your husband and he's your boss. There's no more dad. Don't call me," he said.

However, Femi Otedola's advice to his daughter on submission, has led to numerous debate on social media, with many females arguing against the choice of words and the content of his speech.

Addressing the speculations via his Instagram page, Woli Arole noted how people are having issues with Femi Otedola's advice to his daughter.

He wondered why many people are debating the advice of submitting to the man who is the head of the wife. He slammed those debating it, urging them to refuse to be submissive to their husbands when they get married.

Advising the general public, he urged them to avoid wrong counsel on social media, as it could destroy one's life.

He wrote: "Femi Otedola told his Daughter to SUBMIT to her HUSBAND and some people are having issues with that statement. I don’t get it? The Head of the WIFE is the HUSBAND and CHRIST is the head of the HOME. If you marry your own HUSBAND don’t Submit Ooo, be doing AGID!!!
