‎Tems Should Be In The Big 3 Conversation - Tiwa Savage

Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage, has argued that her female colleague, Tems, should be in the Big 3 conversation following her exclusion from the list.

The Big 3 in the Nigerian music industry is widely referred to as Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.

However, questioning how the Big 3 are chosen, Tiwa Savage stressed that there should be no way the list is curated without Tems being involved.

Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, Tiwa Savage emphasized that some artistes have enough money to spend on their promotion, which paves way for their songs to be heard.

She said: “Think about it, Certain types of artistes get paid more. So, they get the opportunity to spend more on influencers and radio play so you are going to hear their music way more.

“Also, I feel like it is unfair to have a conversation about the Top 3 and not mention someone like Tems. Are you serious?”
