There's A Security Deficit - Stan Alieke Bemoans Real Estate Developers Moving Around With Battalion Of Escorts
Popular Nigerian lawyer, Stan Alieke, has expressed his disdain at the use of battalion of escorts by rich estate developers in Abuja.
The Abuja-based lawyer took to his Instagram story to state that he has a lot of friends and clients who are real estate developers, however, he would love to state an important observation.
According to him, once many of them make money, they begin to employ the services of escorts in their numbers. He wondered why many of them engage in such act, questioning if there was a threat to their life or whether it's for packaging.
Expressing his displeasure with the act, he stressed that if 5 policemen are guarding every rich private individual, then there would be few left to guard the average Nigerian citizen, adding that Nigeria is facing a security deficit.
He wrote: "I have a lot of friends/ clients who are big shot real estate developers so I know they won't mind me calling them out- I can't fathom why most of them once they hit money the next thing they do is to be moving around the city with a battalion of escorts; is it that there's a thre@t againt all your lives or is that part of the packaging/paparazzi? I can understand going with an escort when going out of the city but not within the city like Abuja, most times you will see escorts lining up with them as if we are in wartime. I also wonder if abt 5 police men are guarding every moneyed private individual how many are now left to secure the average citizens in a country like Nigeria where there's a security deficit."
