‎I Was Depressed, Became Suicidal - Morayo Afolabi-Brown Reveals Challenges She Faced 

Popular Nigerian media personality, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has shared a revelation about her battle with depression and suicidal thoughts.

The former managing director of TVC, who recently resigned as host of TVC’s 'Your View' after 12 years, made the revelation while speaking with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, during a recent episode of 'With Chude.'

According to Morayo, she became depressed at a point, emphasizing how it became worse, and the thought of suicide began crossing her mind strongly.

She further added that it was during the tenth year celebration of TVC that she came to the realization that she had to move on to the next phase of life.

She said: "I was depressed. At a point, I was suicidal. I walked on the express, hoping a car would hit me. It was that bad.

“It was when we [TVC] were ten years that I knew that it was time [for me] to go to the next thing. I have been harbouring that thought for a while but I didn’t know how to go about it. But last year, I got that light-bulb moment."
